Royston Turquoise is mined from the Royston Mining District, located near Tonopah, Nevada, USA. The oldest patented mine in Nevada, it has been active since 1902 and is currently operated by the Otteson family.
It is known for its striking color range from deep sky blue to dark green, often with both tones running together in the same stone, set against a golden brown matrix.
